I did this layout for Queen of Papers challenge and also for the all pattern paper challenge. We couldn't use anything except pattern paper (background paper and title excluded). I even printed my journaling on the back of the pattern paper. The ribbon (look) by the trolley picture is pattern paper as well.

My journaling reads:

This is the true story, of seven strangers, picked to live in a house, work together and have their lives taped, to find out what happens, when people stop being polite and start getting real. The Real World

Real World: New Orleans

In 2000 MTV taped Real World in New Orleans. I've been a fan of Real World for a while and never in my wildest dreams would I think I'd be "one of those people" to go find a Real World house just to say I've seen it. But we did. While visiting New Orleans Mandi and I decided to see if we could find the house.

At first it was just something fun to do while we were at Mandi's house. But the more we thought about it the more we wanted to go. We found the address of the house online just before we left the house to go to New Orleans. But somehow we lost the paper we wrote it down on. So we ended up having to call Nate to get it.

There were a few reasons we wanted to see the house (a) we were in the area so why not. (be) Season nine was a bit different. There was a Mormon girl on the show (first time I think). She was attending BYU (in Utah) and had left school to be on the show. She broke the honor code by living in a co-ed house and in the end was expelled from BYU. It was quite a bit of drama, not just for the show but here in Utah as well. So in a way we were kind of connected to this house through Julie (the girl that was on Real World). (c) oh yeah and we are nerds... he he.
