journaling : The first day of preschool. A big day for the boys and for me. Of course, I wanted to document this momentous event by taking a few pictures. Bad idea. As I was trying to get them to pose for a picture, Jack swung his lunchbox right into Connor’s snack cup, sending his beloved Cheerios flying all over the sidewalk. Connor had a complete and full blown meltdown right then and there. I won’t go into all the messy details, but let’s just say that getting the three kids in the car after that was a bit of a scene! Connor continued his fit in the car most of the way there, too. Good times. Luckily, once we got to school, everyone seemed to bounce back. The boys marched right into their classroom, like I knew they would, without even a glance back at me. They weren’t nervous or apprehensive at all. I was very proud of them. The drama wasn’t so bad after all.tfl!
