for day seventeen of the Grow with Love project (on the zinnias and swallowtails blog and everdayramblings blog)…journaling reads: We’ve shared some fabulously memorable date nights. From you “taking one for the team” and getting me tickets to the Neil Diamond concert (you know that was HUGE), to ballgames, to low key things like bowling and movies, or romantic walks and dinners. But I think one of my most favorites has been what has emerged as our “regular” date night….sushi nights. I look forward to these so much and in many ways. Now that our lives are full in a new kind of way as parents and we are busy with work and hobbies, our face to face times come fewer and farther between. And so I treasure sushi night. Not just because I ADORE sushi (ummm…YUM), but because I adore the time we spend chatting and laughing, holding hands and just getting time alone together.
