Description: I love the fun, summery colors of the June moodboard and thought the new Market Street Collection by My Mind's Eye matched perfectly. I've had these snapshots of a day-in-our-life for over a year now and I'm so glad to finally have them scrapped! Seems like I've been scrapping a lot of year-old photos lately :) I'm picking up a new batch of photos tomorrow to start scrapping current events again! Anyway, I designed this “hearts heart” cut file in Adobe Illustrator then transferred it into Silhouette Studio before cutting it with my Cameo. If you want to use the cut file you should be able to grab the image and “trace” it in Silhouette Studio! I then backed each heart with patterned paper and had fun embellishing and adding 9 mini photos from our daily life.Journaling says: Just another day in the life of our little family unit! Wake up, eat breakfast, go on a walk through our picture-perfect neighborhood (cuz Hollywood was always filming commercials around our apartment in South Pasadena!), eat lunch, take naps, work, cut out calendars for my etsy shop, dinner, bathtime, bed time for the kids, then work some more! It may seem boring but I wouldn't have it any other way! The little moments are what life is all about! I love my family!How to: Die cut the “hearts heart” from white cardstock then back each heart with patterned paper. Stitch the heart onto a pink cardstock layout base. Tuck three trios of 1" square photos around the heart to create a visual triangle. Journal around the heart, skipping over the photos. Embellish with stickpins, a chipboard title, and smatterings of white paint and spray mist.
