I was going to enter this layout in the Paperkuts layout contest on someplace special in your life. Since they have gone under, I thought I would share it with y'all and see what you think.My son, Nicky, has been fighting leukemia for the last year and his clinic is a special place in my life. Here is the journaling:After Nicky was diagnosed with leukemia, “How are you doing” became a difficult question to answer. I often wondered if the person asking “really” wanted to know or if they were just being polite. When family and friends asked, I would sometimes hesitate in my answer because I didn't want them to worry about me. Clinic is one of the few places I feel like I can be completely honest with my answer. I can be sad, angry, scared, relieved and every emotion in between. They understand and reassure me. I know that during those times we are at clinic Nicky is being taken care of physically and I will find comfort with how I'm really doing.
