<p>i love many pieces of my wardrobe and this dress from jcrew is one of them, especially because of the top ruffles.&nbsp; the layering detailing inspired this layout… i punched strips of cardstock with my fiskars scallop sentiment border punch and then adhered them down to the page in rows.&nbsp; i only put adhesive on the tops so that i could curl them slightly with my fingers to roll up off the page.&nbsp; i added some gems to the scallops… a dazzling detail that jcrew forgot to do themselves ;)</p><p>this photo is from my brother's med school graduation last month in philadelphia.&nbsp; my whole family rarely gets this dressed up, so it was quite a momentous occasion for many reasons :)</p><p>supplies:<br />making memories patterned paper<br />american crafts cardstock, thickers, stickers<br />fiskars border punch<br />basic grey gems</p>
