<p>the chicago theater is one of my favorite buildings in the city.&nbsp; i think it just love the bright colors and the beautiful glass window.&nbsp; i walk by twice a week on my way to school and i always just pause a bit to look at it.</p><p>for this page i used buttons to try to recreate the design in the marquee.&nbsp; at night it's lit up with little lights and really sparkles.&nbsp; the buttons looked kind of messy laid down on the paper, so i used thread to sew them together but i did it backwards.&nbsp; the thread went over the top of the buttons then under the paper and back out through the button holes.&nbsp; it helped show the flow of the design from the marquee.</p><p>supplies:<br />sassafrass lass patterned paper<br />american crafts letter stickers, patterned paper, cardstock, buttons<br />basic grey buttons<br />&nbsp;</p>
