I did this layout for the CK Baby Animal call and ended up really loving it. The photos were taken with my old stupid camera, but I was able to crop and turn them into better shots. I love just looking at the photo of all the fluffy chicks – they were so cute :)
Journaling: “Pulling out the map of the Museum of Science and Industry, I immediately knew the first place I wanted to go - the baby chick hatchery. Inside the exhibit room there are two cases. Standing outside the case with the eggs, we watched as the shell of one was broken by a tiny beak from the inside out. Breaking apart takes lots of work, so the new baby chicks lay outside the shells just resting. The second case houses the day old chicks. The heat lamps keep them nice and hot, giving them a warm buttery glow. The little chicks are like puffy balls of sunshine. I wanted to take one home with me! (My boyfriend gently broke the news to me that they had to all stay together at the museum.) The hatchery is just a small part of the bigger exhibit on life and development. It’s such an amazing and educating way to view a newborn working their way into the world. The room was full all day long with people waiting to see another egg hatch or take a peep at the fluffy ones - those little guys certainly are a bunch of hot chicks!”
All American Crafts products. A couple KI flowers. SP Sara Jean font from Scrapsupply.com. Thanks for looking! –kelly
