Journaling reads: "Papa Skip used to grow the most amazing corn. The stalks would grow up to 8’ tall or more, and the ears would be over a foot long! Every summer I couldn’t wait for the corn to come in so that I could shuck, silk, and boil a fresh ear, slather it in butter and munch away. YUM!! These photos of Jerry, with Traci, Kimmer and Matthew, were taken in front of Papa’s cornfield during the summer of 1982. Just look how long that ear of corn was!"
