Oh Laura such sweet journaling!! I can hear your happiness in your writing and some of your relief with all the excitement!! The rub ons came out great! Such a clever little "All Boy" tag!!! I just had a thought. You seem to use lots of pastels and most of your layouts are great, but you usually say it's not what you had in mind. One simple thing that might give them a little more power or another notch up is if you use some thin black mattes or ink around your edges of just draw a black line around the edges. If you did a thin black matte under the pastels and then a thin black circle under the D, the layout might have a little more pop and professional feel.....just a suggestion that you might like. Great job and capturing your emotions here!!
Here is a page for my family album of Donnie's birth. i have hidden journaling under the picture that reads: my sweet angel, here you are just moments after birth, you dont even have your ID tags on yet. Nothing can describe the way I felt when they put you on my chest. I was beyond over joyed at the sight of my new son, my first child. i was also in shock that you were here, finally and already! The sound of you crying was the most amazing sound in the world, your lungs were mature, you were breathing on your own. A few hours earlier we had recieved test results that said they werent. The love that I feel for you iis incredible. I am so glad you are here my sweet baby boy, I love you always and forever!
