Well, it's been nearly a month and I finally got another layout made! This is a gift for one of my sis-in-laws, who happens to be in the picture on the far left. She is my husband's youngest sister and I've known her all my life! This picture was taken at the church meeting we hosted at the end of June. It is my husband and four of his sisters. I love how the photo turned out so I decided to make a layout for Rachel. She was here from California for our meeting and to visit the family.
The corner pieces and flourishes I cut out of cereal box cardboard using my Cricut. I then painted them with white acrylic, sprinkled on embossing powder and heat embossed them. I used Stampendous Frantage Aged Silver and on the flourishes I used the same in Shabby White. The large flower I made myself and cut out the butterfly from my Print Shop using a photo of the real thing. The beautiful dragonflies are from Reneabouquets on Etsy! The clock is one I printed off from Pinterest in my Printables folder. It didn't have any clock hands so I used a rubber stamp by wiping all around the hands after tapping the ink on so the rest wouldn't show up. That was a trick!
Background paper is K & Company Alleghany Special Paper Pack. The other papers are DCWV mat stacks. The resin frame, Family title, key, lock, metal filigree are all from Hobby Lobby.
Thank you all for your wonderful and encouraging comments on my layouts. I truly appreciate your kindness and thank you so much for the inspiration. So many talented ladies in the scrapbooking world!
