I love this layout and you have the most awesome handwriting! Great idea on making your own things! Pottery Barn is WAY to expensive! I wish that I knew how to sew well enough to make my own things!

Your Room Decorated W/Love

This is a page I did about my youngest daughter's nursery. I found the cutest little frog named "Lily Mae Leap" on a trip to Lake Placid, NY when I was prego and just had to have her!! The whole room was decorated around her, she was so adorable. I created a little book that holds the photos of her room. This room was definitely decorated with love. I found a cute crib bedding set in Pottery Barn Kids Magazine but it was too expensive, so I made my own. It turned out almost exactly the same as theirs!! I handpainted quotes on her wall, bees and ladybugs. I also quilted a wallhanging to match the bedding. I made the baskets for toys by spraypainting them white and sewing inserts for them to match the quilt. It was definitely a lot of work, but SO worth every minute! I love it.
