I'm having fun playing with this technique. These are my favorite ones so far. This time I followed Diane Barnes' instructions for the full circle. http://dianebarnes.blogspot.com/2013/09/sunburst-birthday-card-for-guys.html

The pieces fit perfectly when I laid them out, but when I made the circle, the last piece didn't fit so I had to overlap it. I can't figure that out since the pieces are so tightly fitted, they feel like a single piece of paper when you run your finger over it--until you reach the overlapped piece. Maybe I should not have made them meet in the center. Then the pieces would have been slightly narrower.

I cut the rectangles to 12 cm x 5 cm and cut them from one corner to the opposite corner to make the triangles.

I made the half circle card with left-over pieces. The dark brown strip on that one was in my stash, and the green piece at the bottom is the back of one of those patterned papers/cardstock.

CARDS:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Bazzill cardstock, from Root Beer Trio (base)
Stampin' Up Very Vanilla (mat)
Patterned Paper, unknown. It's actually a light weight card stock.

Distress Ink, Vintage Photo (to edge the pp pieces)

FOCAL PIECE:
Above the Mark stamp
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Very lightly shaded with the same ink (applicator almost dry)

TFL.
