W-O-W i dearly love this one. I love the papers & things you did to this Heritage page. You really are good with those Heritage pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All you do is very special<<<<<
This is amazing! I love the combination of papers, and the pops of red so perfectly placed to draw the eye. I'm glad I inspired you, but you also inspire me Lisa :)
Oh my WOW!!! This is gorgeous Lisa! Make's me want to dig through my stash for those Weekend Market papers again! How wonderful to have those amazing photos to work with! Total fave for me! xo
Oh Lisa I love this vintage layout and photograph. Vintage photos are awesome and yes, you are right about not smiling and being still. The cameras back then had extremely low shutter speeds and if you moved at all it blurred. It is pretty rare to see a person with a smile on their face back in the day! I love all your technique work and great choice of papers and embellies! Way cool!
This will be added to my favorites list. Love the way you put everything together and I too have a lot of vintage photos to scrap so this is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome heritgage photo!! Love the pprs you used and all your wonderful details on this masculine page!! I too love those old photos. LOL Yeah they do come to think of it look rather stiff and your probably right, they posed as told for the photo to come out right. Nice work.
Hi everyone! I created a masculine LO with a photo that I estimate was taken in the early 1900's. The good looking guy on the right is my Great Uncle Bruce Hebert (my Mom's uncle/her mother's brother)! Hebert is pronounced "a bear". I've always LOVED how everyone back in the early days of photography would have such stiff poses and have such a serious look about them. Perhaps they were instructed to be super still so the photo would come out clear and they probably didn't or couldn't hold a smile that long. I LOVE vintage photos like this! They are just too cool! I had lots of fun using Lindy's Starburst sprays, Bo Bunny stamps, Tresors de Luxe lace and all sorts of metal embellishments, weaved ribbons and buttons from my dear mother's sewing stash. Special thank you to Nancy Smith (Asoulgirl) for giving me the inspiration I needed to use the Bo Bunny ‘Weekend Market' collection “Antique” paper! Her inspirational LO (BTW it is a FAVE of mine) is located at: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/556369/view/4212881/-1/18/0.html If this doesn't work, go to Asoulgirl Gallery and find "Dictionary Cat". It is AWESOME! :)
Please visit my blog for creation details of my layout. http://iluvcatsandscraps.blogspot.com/ Have a great day! Lisa : )
