I love to hear how people really enjoy this craft! And it shows on your page!! Beautiful delicate layers! You can see a lot of thought and love went into this page! xo
Great heritage page!!! I love your photo and beautiful colors and all of the wonderful details, especially the button - a perfect way to remember your mother!!!
Such an amazing and wonderful photo. I love how you scrapped it. Your page is absolutely gorgeous and is so full of love and amazing details! Thank you for sharing it with all of us!
Wow - this lo is so BEAUTIFULLY done. I love the colors and all the wonder techniques you used. How fortunate to find that fabulous button in your mom's collection and to be able to display it on this lovely old family photo. You have certainly created a treasure.
OMGosh! All the details on this lo are so great (especially the button)! I love your colors, punch work and layering! Such a pretty, feminine page and a priceless photo! Great job!
Beautiful! Love the layered "ornamental iron" die cuts. I have a Cricut and the ornamental iron cartridge too, but I never seem to have the patience to get them out and use them.
Elizabeth, you did a great job on creating the perfectly beautiful LO for this photo! Love the colors, punching, embossing, flowers & bling. Wonderful!
Oh for the love, this is so gorgeous my friend! Where do I start?? Love the pprs you pieced together, the punching is perfect, great stenciling, & all those special things you added from your friends. The photo is gem & now it is surrounded by such beauty! You amaze me with your lo's!:)
Once I got going I really had fun with this one! I couldn't believe how fast I found the papers to use for it. This photo was taken in 1944 (from what my aunt figured). It is from left to right - Aunt Eva, my Mom (Mary), my grandma (Lillie Mae), Aunt Jerry and Aunt Cleda. The cloisonne button on the heart at right was in my Mom's button tin so it gives it special meaning to me. The beautiful butterflies are from Renea's Reneabouquets Etsy shop, the pretty papers that I punched were 6x6 that I pieced together were from the drawing I won from Scrapbooking by Phyllis as well as the ribbon roses and dressform. The large key and crest were from a drawing that I won from Nini's Things, all the way from Australia! The ribbon, little purse charm, scissors, little key and painted wood heart were from my best friend, Susie Weaver, for part of my birthday gifts! Reneabouquets also sells those scissors! The pearl necklace I made by cutting a strand given to me by Jellybean (Brandy) and the feather under the flowers is from Scraphouse (Melissa). Thank you ladies for making my layout so special!
The die-cuts are from the Ornamental Iron 2 cartridge I used on my Cricut. On the large piece, I painted it with white acrylic paint and sprinkled on Stampendous Shabby White embossing powder and heat embossed it. The frame I just dabbed with Tsukineko Dewdrops Purple Hydrangea chalk ink using a seafoam sponge, then sprayed it with Perfect Pearls spray mist.
On the butterflies, I inked around the edges a bit with the Purple Hydrangea chalk ink so they would show up a little better. I just love them! Also did that to the dressform.
Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery! Hugs!
