Want to layer and color to your heart's content? Try your hand on a mixed-media card like the fabulous Nadia created for us! You'll end up with beautiful textures that everyone will want to know how you did it!
Instructions:

1. Start with Soft Matte Gel medium to adhere A4 Watercolor Paper to the front of the card. Next use stamps, tissue tape, and tissue paper to create a bit of contrast in the background.
2. Apply White Gesso to the backdrop, then wipe gently with a baby wipe to create an almost translucent effect.
3. The Prima stitch square stamp adds visual interest to the centre, while Silver Metallic Chalk Edger and Attic Dust Chalk Edgers colour the squares. Add silver Mica Flakes with the gel medium.
4. Add some of your fave Prima embellies, like the Resin Window Frame, and a few gorgeous Prima flowers to create the centre of attention.
5. Cobalt Color Bloom Spray adds gorgeous colour. Start lightly around the sides of the embellishments, then spray water to soften the appearance (and create the popular water colour effect.) In other areas use the nozzle directly onto the paper to give it a darker look.
6. Add touches of Precious Stone Color Bloom for contrasting effect and to create splatters.
7. Add new blue flowers, Melbourne Harbour, and resin and chipboard to finish the layers.
