Created for Week 6 of the Scrapvivor Challenge. Had to use a specific Becky Higgins sketch and at least 4 photos. I loved this sketch! I altered the sketch to fit my needs and was able to get 8 photos on this LO.
Visible Journaling: *September 2002* The 4-year-old classes at Little School have been going to Deer Creek Orchard for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Rohaly are the owners and they are wonderful with the children. Mr. Rohaly has a really cool hand drawn picture that helps explain the pollination of the apple trees that he always shares with the children before the orchard tour. He shows the children how to pick the apples properly, how to do the “Bee Dance,” and how the apples are sorted and put into the crates. The children also get to go inside the big refrigerator where all the apples are stored. It is very cold, but the smell of all the different apples mixed together is fantastic! The tour ends with each child being able to pick his or her own apple to take home and then Mrs. Rohaly brings out her famous homemade apple-cinnamon cake donuts. They are the most delicious donuts and we (the teachers) always buy a dozen to take home to our families.
