After viewing a number of layouts that use altered wooden icons I decided to to put a little more effort into changing the color and texture. Don't get me wrong, I love using them in their natural form but sometimes you need just a little extra pop!

I used Memento markers to color them, then added clear crackle paint which makes the color bleed and blend.

Also for the Cricut challenge.
