March 16th, 2004…

Sur wedding day may not have been perfect, but it sure felt wonderful. You spent the morning with your best man and good friend, Todd. The two of you just relaxed and caught up on life. Stacia and I walked down to the Aladdin were I created the first bear in our collection at the Build-a-Bear store. We have a tradition, one bear for every year of marriage; each containing a heart marked with a wish and a kiss.

At one o’ clock in the afternoon Kris and Natty went with me to the salon. $100 later I came out with the perfect up-do.

At three o’ clock in the afternoon we were married in the Treasure Island Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a simple, small and beautiful ceremony.

At five o’ clock in the evening we all headed down to the Il Fornaio restaurant in the New York New York hotel. We had a wonderful dinner, surrounded by friends and family. The food was delicious and the wine was even better. Sitting next to you, knowing you were now my husband, was a feeling like no other.

After our dinner, we rode the roller coaster at New York New York. I was in my dress and you were in your tux. It was a last minute dare instigated by my cousin Dane. Standing in line, joking with my family was a blast!

Later that evening, we went to Palace Station and played poker. We managed to hold onto our money. Just before we left, I drop a few dollars in a nickel slot machine and won the progressive at $400!

It was a perfectly wonderful day, full of moments to remember forever (and a few to forget). We laughed, relaxed and didn’t worry about a thing except each other.
