This is awesome! I also like to iron... I always feel like I've accomplished something when I'm finished. I love how you designed this page and how the swirls are placed! Absolutely wonderful page!!!
There is something about freshly starched clothes! But I would rather run the vacuum!! WOWZY! What you've done here is sooo cool! LOVE the steam coming out of your iron!!! Cool cool layout!! I mean... hot hot layout!!
I'm with my fellow posters and not a fan of ironing!! BUT I don't have a pretty see-through cobolt blue handle.....no I don't think that would change it! lol!! I thought this was also for challenge #7 of an inanimate object! LOVE the "steam" stamps and the patterned paper -- so crisp and homey looking and the stitching! AND the journaling! Great layout!
ARE YOU MAD WOMAN?????????????????????????????? I have never yet found a woman who actually likes ironing, I loathe it with a passion ROFL !!!!!!!!!Sorry - only kidding! I do love your page though, especially the way the swirls look like the steam jets - sooooooooooo clever - fabulous job on the challenge, TFS :)
We are a very wrinkled family due to my absolute dislike of ironing! Luckily no one complains! You did a great job on the lo. The color choices are perfect and I love the way you made it look like steam is coming out of the iron!
This is for Ceryl's 3 product/technique challenge: Swirls, ric-rac, 3 patterned papers I just wanted to do a lo on how much I like ironing and why I like it. Journaling: IRONING is pretty much the only chore that I actually LOVE doing around the house. I love my iron... with it’s see through, cobalt blue handle. I purchased it over three years ago and it still works great! I especially Love the SATISFACTION I get when I put a FRESHLY IRONED piece of clothing on one of my children or my husband and they stand up a little straighter. Misty 9-06
The swirls are Technique Tuesday whirly gig stamps, I used ric rac around my journaling circle, and I used 3 different pieces of Everyday Tango pprs. I also used li'l davis's alpha stickers and sewed a piece of lace on. PS: I have since erased the pencil line I used to place the letter stickers and I've fixed the "M". TFL!!!!!!
