This frilly and pretty in pink page commemorates when I got a new puppy in 2009. I named her after Napoleon Bonaparte's wife, Josephine, because I love anything to do with France, and I was really into reading about Napoleon and Josephine at the time. We also spoil our pets rotten, like little royalty, so I added an "ermine" cape and crown on her head. (The crown was chipboard colored with gold embossing powder.) Letters and pink damask shapes were cut with the Quickutz Revolution and Quickutz dies (Fiesta alphabet and Damask 4" x 4"). I used velvet-textured paper to cut the damask shapes. The paper was white, so I inked it with magenta to match my color scheme. I embossed the paper behind "Josephine" in a quilt-like pattern. I stamped and embossed chandeliers and damask shapes onto the background, and rubbed clear ink on the bottom right corner, then sprinkled it lightly with silver embossing powder. I finished the page with a few flowers, a ribbon border, and mini tags that read, "Spoiled Rotten!"
