Here's a layout I made regarding the 70's classic rockers Nazareth. The center photograph was a black & white, which I slightly tinted in Adobe Photoshop to match the denim theme I wanted. I made the stars in Photoshop by scanning my denim jacket because I was totally out of my denim paper! How's that for ingenuity! You can't tell from the photo, but flanking the center photo are super-sparkly rhinestones on black mesh.
