On the base I used a technique called “Sharpie ghosting” which I learned about on a You Tube video.
The inspiration for this page came from the product label/cover from Corn Pops cereal bowls that are used in the lunch program where I work. I really liked the way the label looked. I cut the word Pops and the taste description from the cover. I also used the dull silver from the back of the label to make hearts.
My MIL stamped the tissue paper I used on the page. It was gift wrap from a present she gave me. The holes are from the tape holding the paper around the box. I just went with it as is.
I like the cartoon-y feel of the page. I dropped blobs of acrylic ink onto the page. I also added snippets of journaling of the random thoughts to come into my head while working.
