Scraplifted from Swarup Murthy at The Storyteller (http://sanketij.blogspot.ca/) She freehanded a gorgeous poinsettia and posted it today and I just happened to have this new wood block stamp so I decided to give it a try. (She has a video tutorial. Watercolor - Poinsettia video, Friday, November 7, 2014) I masked off the small square and stamped the flower in Antique Linen Distress Ink rather than try to free hand it. I never dreamed this would actually look okay because it looked awful in the beginning so I just kept adding color like she did and I think it's quite pretty.
