I got this idea for a red sky from some Christmas art on Pinterest. I did a lot of masking for this scene. I stamped Frost the penguin first, masked him off, then stamped Berry the snowman and masked him. Then I stamped the snowy trees and masked them and the whole lower panel. (That's just how I cut the masking piece when I made it.) Then I sponged distress ink to create the sky. I used snowflake stamps from the Mama Elephant - Season's Greetings set and stamped them in white pigment ink. (Also used a tiny snowflake stamp from Lawn Fawn's Critters in the Arctic). Everything was colored with copics, the shadows in the snow were sponged with Memento Lulu Lavender and a scrap piece of paper. I used a gel pen to make the snow drops and the sentiment from Purple Onion is white heat embossed on black cardstock. Cardstock was Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb. and card base was Neenah Desert Storm.
