My darling oldest son, Micah! I just love this picture of him! This photographer came to his pre-school and had some really cute costumes. This was my favorite of him. My other son had a cute picture, too. As soon as I scrap it, I'll post it, too.
I tore and chalked the edges of the burlap, then crumpled it up to give it more of a realistic feel.
The journaling is on the denim, it may be hard to read:
In June, 2004, a photographer came to your pre-school with lots of wonderful costumes. I couldn’t wait to see how they turned out. I got so excited when I saw how handsome you looked in this picture. You were almost 3 ½ here, and I couldn’t believe my eyes! You look like such a big boy with your cowboy hat and lasso. Your smile alone was enough to steal a million hearts. I know of at least one that you stole: mine!
