The photos are very cool! Sorry to hear about your experience though. I hope you were able to see and enjoy some of Seattle, even though it wasn't a planned stop.
Wow! I love the colors on this, the little planes with the stitching and how you did your title. Great photos and such an adventure. You're starting to sound like us....we spent 2 weeks (not by choice) in Cancun during Hurricane Wilma!!! This spurs me on to scrap a few of those photos! Glad to hear you got home safely!
These photos are amazing! Sorry about your flight being diverted and being delayed. I love the plane and volcano cuts and how you drew the doodled lines. Nice job here!
I agree amazing photos! i can't even imagine although I have a friend here who was delayed because of the volcano in Iceland so maybe someday I will get to see something like this myself
Those photos are amazing! I didn't know you had gotten stranded in Seattle but Seattle is a fun city if it isn't raining! So much to see. Bummer about not having your luggage though. That does sound like quite the adventure!
The Captain informed us Mount Redoubt erupted and closed both of the major airports in Alaska. We were diverted to Seattle. When we got there, over 500 Alaska-bound passengers were in line waiting to re-book as soon as it was safe. We waited in line two hours and got re-booked four days later. The worst part was we couldn't get our luggage. I'm in a light sweater, shorts, and flip-flops. It is 40 degrees in Seattle. We took a shuttle to a hotel and finally at midnight, we went to sleep. What an adventure. The photos are from a friend who works for the Volcano Observatory. Cool photos huh?
