My son's father is not apart of his life; he has never met the man, never received a birthday card, a Christmas present, or a get well soon when he was sick. He instead has his grandpa John. A man, that chose to become a "father figure" when there wasn't one. He is the man that chooses to spend his time with Jt, that buys him gifts, plays with Transformers in the floor, teaches him right from wrong, and explores the great outdoors. My father raised me as well as he could, providing a happy and loving home and made sure I never did without. He now helps me raise my son. He helps me provide for him, as he provided for me. He helps teach my boy the things he needs to be a man; not an adult male, but a MAN. The kind of man that men inspire to be. This December's Gratefulness Challenge is dedicated to my father. The BEST man I know. He is kind, and generous. He is loving and loyal. He showed me how to travel down life's path, and has always been there for me when I hit a ditch to lend me a hand and help me get back on track. I love him very much, and am SO VERY grateful to have him in my life.
