Give a Cheer
These are photos from 2009. Journaling says: The making of Cassie's All Saints' Day costume for this year's pageant. October 25-29.
The dress is not quite finished in these pics - the hem is only pinned, but we were running out of daylight for our photo shoot. :)
This is for the December Music Challenge - Artist: Fancy was a pop group in the 70's. For the 'bow' twist, I used one made of raffia.
Also for a VLB Challenge to use red, yellow, & orange on a LO.
I used a January 2011 PageMap for this. The sewing chippies were bare that I sprayed with various Glimmer Mists. I wound thread I used for the costume around the spool and tied some through the needle. The gold cord on the left is a remnant from the one I used to lace up the back of the dress. I had a teeny piece left of the ribbon I used to trim the dress and the belt, so I included it on the page. The 3x4 photo is outlined with a Sharpie.
