I am so proud of DD for being so good meeting Santa. We did a lot of prep before this day. Weeks ago we started talking about Santa and I kept pictures of kids sitting with Santa in my car for her to play with. We also watched Christmas movies and read Christmas books. Santa even visited her class the day before. Then That night we watched a video clip my sister had made of Santa talking to DD. It was really cool! My sister entered DD's name, a picture, and a fact about her (specifically the fact that DD is learning to go peepee on the potty) and out came a personalized video with Santa talking right to her! It was magical when she watched it...she really believed.

Before I had kids I would have thought that that much work for a 10 minute interaction was ridiculous, but it has kept us in the spirit of the season despite all our challenges this month. I had an appendectomy, DH had pink eye, and DD just had a horrible stomach bug this week. But some how we are getting through. Presents are bought, the house is decorated, baking is done, cards are even out...its a Christmas miracle. Haha
