This is so pretty! I think that I'm going to "steal" your idea and take a pic of MY Christmas Cactus when it blooms. Mine is a gorgeous pink shade, though--although the red is beautiful! I love that you used the Prima Pineapple die as a flower and never would have thought of that! I just happened to get that stencil from a shop on Etsy just the other day, too! I am now following you as I love your style!
I'm back again. I meant to vote for this when I was here and forgot after I left my comment (just clued in when I saw your comment to me, lol). I really like the design of this one. The die cuts and colour are beautifully placed and balanced. Merry Christmas, Lisa!
I created another layout for my garden scrapbook using a photo I took in early December of my Christmas Cactus. It blooms only during the Christmas season. Although this unique plant is native to Brazil, the flowers of the Christmas Cactus look Hawaiian. It grows very well here in Louisiana! I tried to make this LO a little festive by using a Prima doily die and since the flower is red, Christmas colors of red & green seemed fitting. Thanks for viewing my LO and have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Lisa : ) My blog has details and close ups. http://iluvcatsandscraps.blogspot.com/
