Have I told you the good news yet? Deedee's Digis is staying open!! You can read about it here… http://www.deedeesdigis.com/2015/01/we-found-way-to-stay-open.html

Today Deedee's Digis is sponsoring Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #210 – anything goes as long as it is Christmas. So if you finished a last minute project and haven't posted it yet OR you want to get a start on next year's Christmas cards, this is the challenge for you! This was one of the last few cards I made before Christmas arrived. One of ladies at work needed Christmas cards for her daughters and one of them loves to cook. So I paper pieced this wonderful image from Deedee's Digis, Mix it Up. Paper piecing it was a little tricky with the arm and bowl in front of the apron but with a little fancy cutting and my Xyron X sticker maker I was able to do it and love how it came out! And her matching bow just makes me smile. I used a Christmas paper pack from several years ago but I thought it was perfect.

I used Sketch Saturday #330 as my inspiration.

CHALLENGES:
1) Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #210 – Anything Goes – Christmas
2) Jan Card Challenge @ Scrapbook.com – Bonus Category – Paper Piecing (not from a die cut machine). I printed the image out and then printed it again on patterned paper and cut it out.

SUPPLIES:
Digital Image: Mix it Up @ Deedee's Digis
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Recollections (Bright & Jolly)
Inks: pre-colored image printed on canon inkjet printer
Accents/Tools: Xyron X sticker maker
Techniques: paper piecing
