Oh, I love the vintage feel of this! The recipe card and water distressing are perfect touches. I agree with Tammy, it looks as if you are in the middle of making something. Nicely done.

I love that this is a cherished possession and you use it! I also like the paint. I am a bit of a messy baker so it reminds me of egg dip and messy hands from little ones all at the same time - perfect!

The twist was to use elements that begin with the letters of New Year.
The bowl is a cherished belonging because it was given to me by my SIL years and years ago because she knew how much I admired the similar one that her grandmother had used for a long time.
I am not too happy with the paint on gesso and I have to say it looks even worse online than IRL. I was happy to get to use some of this Farmhouse Paper line that has been living in my stash for quite awhile.
