Pictures from my trip to Israel in 2011. Journaling reads "Today we ate lunch at a place called Abraham's Tent. It was located in the Judean wilderness, in the region where Abraham himself would have set up his tents with his family and flocks. When we visited, they helped us to "travel back in time" with a camel ride, so that we could experience what it would have been like to visit Abraham and his family several thousand years ago. At the tent, we had an amazing lunch of chicken with a date honey glaze, rice, and many other foods. It was fun to eat in a tent reclining on cushions around the table and the view outside the tent was spectacular. It looked out on the mountains of Judea and out the Jordan River Valley."

I created the roses using sticky back canvas and glubers.

I also used a Hero Arts stamp called "Three Ferns" as the leaves. I wanted to stamp and cut it out but didn't want to mess with the fussiness of this stamp so I stamped my image, scanned it in, and traced it. I then created a silhouette around the image and cut that out. I then used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get perfect placement when stamping my stamp on my diecut. :)
