Hi everyone! Melissa here for Gina's Designs. I really enjoyed using this chipboard. The swirls and curls fit well with the sunny mood of the photo.
I only used a couple steps to make this:
1.Prep with gesso. I applied it with a small wedge of cosmetic sponge. It's faster than using a paint brush.
2. Paint with gold leaf paint.
3. Put a layer of glossy accents on.

I took this photo of my Mother-in-Law at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. I liked how she was so well framed by the trees and the path , the perspective created by them. The sunshine on the path struck me also.

My mil loves birds, I can remember her walking outside in the snow, and chopping ice out of the bird bath to put fresh water in. I always admired how she cared about all the critters. She would have little shelters on the deck outside for her stray cats, so they had a warm place to stay when it was cold out.

Thanks for looking!

Abbygirl gave me the inspiration to use this kind of lace. She has a gorgeous page called "Winter" with similar lace. I saw it and had to go to the store and get some. I sprayed it brown to go with the page better.
