This is one in a series of layouts remembering my years as teacher in a one-room schoolhouse in Alaska. Our bus back then (1977) was a van and it traveled the Chiniak Road each day through all kinds of weather. I still know (and keep in touch with) just about everyone in the picture; their names are on the hidden journaling card in the pocket.
