I am glad that you decided to post these in the movie challenge. We now have more than 20 entries in this challenge which is the most we ever had and I have been running this challenge for a year. Your layouts are beautiful renderings of the stories with such cute pictures. Thanks for joining.
Very pretty LO and pics! They really get ya with those "meet the princesses", don't they?! When we took my DGD1 to Disney, we did that and thankfully she wanted to see the princesses and not the fairies, as that line was twice as long! I still have all my pics to scrap.
So very sweet, how those little ones love the opportunity to met their favorite story book character. Loving the gold foil accents on your paper and the way your flowers add so much texture and dimension to the layout.
This page is so incredibly adorable! I love how your character pages follow the theme of the character and movie! This looks just like the Tangled movie (which I loved!) Gaaah, can't wait for a DD to to do these pages with!!! (DS is fun, but you can only do so much cars...) LOL! Love your collection of flowers and how they look like they're just jumping right off the page!
Rapunzel is DD's first favorite princess...Ariel is now also her favorite, but only recently. Have you seen the Tangled movie? It really is fantastic. Except that part when Rapunzel calls Mother Gothel "mommy" that breaks my heart every time....well and of course I always get a little teary when she is reunited with her parents. But hey, that's Disney for you. Meeting Rapunzel was a 45 minute wait and I made the mistake of not taking DD to the restroom before we hopped in the long line. So of course right before we got into the room to meet her she had to go. The attendant said we could just hope back in through the fast pass line when we got back. We did not make it in time...she had an accident and really it was my fault. Luckily she was a trooper. Even when we had to wait another 15 minutes in the fast pass line. I really didn't want to wait an hour for anything that day...I don't think it was fair to my 2 year old to ask her to do that, but we had already promised to see Rapuzel and she was willing to wait. So we did. Plus it was a double line...so she got to meet Cinderella too. It all worked out...slightly left of the plan.
The flowers, gems, and ribbon were all from the dollar bins at M's. The matting paper was scrap from my stash. I tried to wing this LO and didn't go in with a plan. The one thing I wish I could have found was a lizard sticker or die cut or something....it just doesn't feel right without Pascal.
