This is a card that I made for my grandmother, for her birthday in June 2014. Unfortunately she has Alzheimer's disease and she has lost her speech and she doesn't recognize me anymore. Still I wanted to make a card for her, inspired by our friendship. She had a dog, and due to my allergy I couldn't be inside her house, so we always sat outside talking and enjoying the surrounding nature. So I made the butterfly card while remembering all of our wonderful moments together outside...
The butterflies are stamped on vellum and colored in using chalks.
I colored white seam binding ribbon using stamp pads in different colors and water to blend the colors.
