Just a few of many photos we took last August during the Seafair Blue Angels show in Seattle. This was a special treat for my DH as he is a HUGE airplane/military fan (Military Channel All.the.Time in our house!). I've grown up seeing the Blues a few times, but this was his first. A good, long-time friend of mine lives up on Mt. Baker Hill overlooking Lake Washington and she invited us up for a BBQ and to watch the Blues fly. We were in a fabulously unobstructed location with a clear view of the lake and the show. Several times the planes flew right over us and I still get chills thinking of that distinct sound!
When I saw this page map, I knew it was time to do my Blue Angel page - the only problem was picking which photos to use! (We got a LOT!) This was with my same Mom's Day camera as the sailboat photo. LOVE the zoom on that thing! I'm sure I"ll do more pages of these guys, but here's the first!
For Page Maps, Cricut (Stand & Salute for the Blue Angel and cloud cuts!) and my Hoarders challenge! I think I used more vellum on this one page than I ever have before! LOL!
