My aunt has a dog just like Abby (named Zoe), so the title cracks me up because I keep trying to picture Zoe as a "Mighty Hunter!" I love how the stitching is framing all the photos!
I really like everything about this. The photo collage, the stitched frame around everything, the burlap, but especially that you included the "story" explaining the pictures on the page. Great LO!
Love that photo block and I think your dog is one of the most adorable pups I've ever seen! LOL- fun journaling and I like all of your burlap embellies.
I love the burlap elements!! I understand about the shredded toy! We always felt like we just rented McKayla's stuffies! She had most of them destroyed within a couple of hours! Great lo!!
This is one of those LO's that looks better IRL. I don't know why it didn't photograph well. Anyway, these are pictures of Abigail playing with a mallard toy she had for a short time. The bottom photo was one of my POD's in January 2010. Journaling says: This is a toy I hid from Abby right after she got it because she was being too obnoxious. I gave it back to her when I was going through toys to throw out, and within 15 min of these photos, she had the poor duck decapitated. Sigh... Another one bites the dust...
This is my example for my April Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Burlap. I have a strip of burlap and 3 burlap flowers. The twist is staples - I stapled the long strip to the page.
This is for: 1) April Music Challenge - Lyric. I have the line 'Another one bites the dust' from the Queen song of the same name in the journaling. For the washi twist, I covered cs with 2 patterns of black & white washi and punched the butterflies from it.
2) April Sewing Challenge. I machine stitched the green frame around the center of the page, and I stitched on the buttons. For the twist, I have 3 different flowers and four different buttons.
3) April Pet Challenge with the journaling twist.
I used a June 2012 PageMap. To go with the hunting theme, I used 2 different camos, a military print and a RealTree print, and I also used some 'blaze orange.' I edged the photos with black Sharpie.
