So cute - love all the great pics - looks like they all had fun, even though the houses didn't hold. I did Gingerbread houses one year with my kids - total disaster- way harder than it looks LOL! Love the titlework and the photo next to "nailed it" Too cute!
Thanksgiving 2014, my children (and families) spent the weekend in a cabin in the mountains. This is what we did one night of our mini-vacation. Title letters are foam letters. Arrows are cut with a Spellbinder die. Gingerbread men are cut with the Cameo. The "building a" is some really OLD rub-on letters I had in my stash. The red ppr is from GCD and the yellow is BoBunny paper (all OLD stuff!)
Journaling is on the back of the layout and reads:
For our Thanksgiving in 2014, we rented a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We had a lot of family activities including building a gingerbread barn. Kimberly brought 3 gingerbread kits with her and you all spend one evening working on your creations. Traci’s barn is the photo on the bottom right (and it held together for a little while)…and you can see what the boys created in the photo in the center of the top strip of photos (it didn't hold together very long either). The girls – Katie, Maggie, and Helen Grace – worked really hard on their barn. Unfortunately, they just couldn't get it to stay together at all! The end result is shown in the large photo on the left of the layout. I didn't actually help any of you with your barns, but I sure enjoyed watching you!
