Journaling:
I Have a Confession to Make

September 2006
We are trying to get Jacob to
go to bed without rocking and milk
in his bottle and the two
hour ordeal that preceded bedtime
EVERY single night.
So we made the rule: no more milk in bottle--
only water to drink after toothbrushing time.
Next, we moved the rocking chair out of his room.
Then we made the two story book limit at night.
Next comes the big boy bed. (shiver)
Not looking forward to no more bars on our boy’s bed.
I just know that when we put him in that
regular bed it is going to be chaos.
I have a confession to make:
I am scared for Jacob to go to a regular bed…
1. it means he is growing up and not a baby anymore.
2. he will crawl out of his new bed and never sleep.
3. I will not be able to sleep because I’ll be worried
he is out wondering in the street or something.
So here I am in these pictures…
laying in his baby bed reading him stories.
Ahhh. The perils of motherhood.
