I can't use my scanner right now, and this is a pretty poor quality photo, but thanks for looking! This was the first time my son and I baked cupcakes together. Journaling says: step 1: Decide to cautiously examine cupcake batter with finger. Step 2: Decide a taste test of batter is needed in order for batter to pass inspection. Step 3: Decide a double fisted dip into batter will be a more thurough test of batter quality. Step 4: Eyeball fists and wonder if batter is really up to par. Step 5: Decide to shove both fists into mouth to get a "full" flavor taste test. (After all, it's only fair) Step 6: Smile that "you can't possibly be mad at me when I look like this" smile for mom so she doesn't scold me for "double dipping."
