These are the pencil case boxes I altered for our local MOPS group. The theme this year is "What Every Woman Needs, Fresh Air," which somehow translates to flowers. We have 10 tables, each with a different flower name: Lily, Hyacinth, Orchid, Tulip, Iris, Daisy, Chrysanthemum, Peony, Violet, and Pansy.
After I volunteered to "pretty up" the boxes, it was a bit of a surprise to receive plastic tupperware-type containers with attached lids and nary a straight edge or corner anywhere to be seen. What a challenge! Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions at the outset of this project!
Materials: downloaded photos of flowers from the internet, card stock, dollar ribbon from Michaels, Modge Podge, special spray paint for plastic.
