I think they were rattle snakes, but i'm not sure. The snake pit was in the "petting zoo" area of the animal park. Not that anyone could or would pet them though.

These pictures were taken at Pine Mt. Animal Park in Columbus, GA. Usually the snake pit's kinda boring, but that day the snakes were pretty active. All my friends arranged themselves around the "warning" sign for a great picuture.
