This is my entry in the NSD Tag Challenge. I have never done a tag before and had a little bit of hard time with the concept of layering etc. I kept trying to add flat items at first.

I distressed the tag and then attacked it with water droplets and then dried it with my heat embosser. Then I stamped a daisy image from Fiskars Petal From Scratch clear stamp collection. I then added a die cut label cut with Spellbinders Labels Eight and printed the saying on it. I painted that blue around the edges and added rhinestones. The flowers were just some old ones I've had around forever. I layered two and added a button from American Crafts Elements Collection. It was wood colored, so I painted it blue too. To the center of the button I added an old epoxy smiley face that I am sure I received as a gift from someone. I'm yellow smiley face fanatic. I then added some glitter tape daisies from Recollections to the card in a few places. The cats were made by applying glitter paste to the saved negative space of an old Silhouette cut. That stuff is one of my newest purchases. I really want more now. Anyway, the heart was cut with a Sizzix Originals die from chipboard and then sent through my handy dandy crimper and painted blue as well. I used a washi tape covered mini clothespin to attach it to the tag. I can still move it and see the pretty tag behind and rearrange the look of the tag that way. The heart has banner or paper and washi tape from Recollections on it. The word is from the Technique Tuesday Words we love collection. And finally the whole tag was painted gold around the edges.

I don't know exactly what people do with tags. I thought I would keep this one on display in my room... thus the colors and the daisies... my cats really do try to eat my daisy decor. I have to keep those up high now... Oh well.... inspiration for a tag I guess.
