I entered this for the "Classroom: Beautiful Mixed Media Projects with Frank Garcia" Lesson 1. I found this tutorial online a couple of weeks ago for an art journal using recycled materials. Needless to say, the base project looks awful and I've been trying to find ideas to spruce it up. I've gathered embellishments I wanted to use and had some ideas, but my mind drew a blank and I put it aside. When I came across this lesson, I already had the butterfly and some glitter and some paints picked out and a piece of cardboard from a cereal box. Thank you for the idea!
