For my DGD
I make these bags from canvas by the yard. the handle straps are hand torn and reinforced with zig-zag stitching.
(you can magnify this pic)
The 'lace' (not Maya Road as I first thought) is called "Torn Fabric Strips" by Sage & Co.
(Sew them on Before sewing the bag seams together!: )
The top edge is the selvage; so no hemming here~
The canvas flower was cut from Mr TH die - I added a ctr brad.
