Okay, so I don't know if that is stitching or pp, but whatever it is, it's hot. LOVE this one. The journaling is so classic. Forget your dd's similarity to mine, are *you* MY long lost twin?
POEM (Left Page): Come one, come all, there is fun to be had, A few little rides won’t make you feel bad.
Hop on board, feel the wind in your hair, Enjoy a fun family day at the Kane County Fair.
It’s Katy’s first fair, is that what you said? She can’t get the merry-go-round out of her head?
The swings, the train, and driving her own car, the ducky & water games were our favorites by far.
After such a great time, it is hard to say goodbye, sadness ended with a promise to come back next July.
Journaling (RIGHT PAGE): I seriously love a good fair. I’m not sure what it is about a fair that always makes me happy. The food, the rides, and the exceptionally interesting people watching must all play a part. We were uncertain what to expect from you at your first Kane County Fair. But, in true almost-three-year-old nature, you were ready for an adventure and sucked up every minute of it. You were SO uncharacteristically brave and independent. We were beaming with pride when you got on the rides all by yourself and never acted remotely intimidated. (oh, except of course when you wanted to go on the trampoline bungee but changed your mind once they strapped you in!) You got the coolest balloon animal from a clown & we lost it before we left. But, you were so proud of your Finding Nemo clownfish because you won it all by yourself at the ducky game. Big kid. Big fun. Big memories.
