These pics are of dh mowing the yard for the first time this year. He as a quirk about not mowing the yard until May. We've had decent spring rains this year, so he had to mow on May 1st and the grass was thick and tall!
With dh in that hat and trying to push-mow the tall grass and because he has a constant battle with moles in the front yard, these pics make me think of the movie Caddyshack. When I saw the May Movie Challenge, I knew I had to scrap these pics for it. I chose the background pp, because it made me think of tall grass. The challenge had the twist of "an interesting border", so I created mine by matting the background pp onto green cs, with the border on 3 sides, then created a bottom border from layered grass stickers, flower (my version of weeds) stickers, and a punched border strip. I used some whimsical sun and clouds stickers to add to the fun of the lo. I matted the pics each on white, then both on green. I created the journaling/title card with a sticker journaling spot, a heart sticker and sticker alphas adhered to white cs, then matted onto a fun green pp.
Also for the MAY STICKER CHALLENGE! I used so many old stickers on this...really brought back memories of how I scrapped so many years ago!
